Capturing In Film

Intro

Working with 35mm film provides a unique and intimate way to express the world around me, transforming ordinary moments into extraordinary narratives. Each roll of film becomes a canvas for exploration, inviting spontaneity and creativity that digital formats often lack. The tactile process of loading film and waiting for development fosters a deeper connection to each shot, making every frame feel like a deliberate choice. The limited exposures prompt a heightened awareness of light, composition, and emotion, turning each shutter's click into a conscious decision. The raw, grainy aesthetic captures the essence of a moment, with imperfections adding character and depth to each photograph. Ultimately, 35mm film allows for a rich exploration of life, encouraging appreciation for the beauty in imperfection and the meaningfulness of everyday experiences.
